Prolancer acquires Total Recall VR
We are pleased to announce that Prolancer acquired the full rights to the intellectual property of Total Recall VR on the 1st of July 2012.
Our commitment to Total Recall VR (as official engineering partner) has been strong since 2006. The acquisition frees us to take the technology and the products to levels not possible before due to contractual restrictions. It also enables us to integrate Total Recall VR with our Hosted Services Platform, and to offer cloud based applications which support it.
We will continue to manufacture all Total Recall VR products and sell the products through a global reseller channel. We are in the process of negotiating with the current and new members of the reseller channel and will be working hard to reward and support those members of the channel that show better than expected commitment to our products.
In addition we have plans to introduce new products to the line. The new products will be based on new web based technologies and will be capable of active media capture in addition to the current passive media capture mechanism. We will be revealing more of our plans for the product in due course.
