Total Recall VR Archiver
Total Recall VR Archiver is a Windows™ service designed for continuous near real-time (as they complete) archiving of recordings from a single or multiple Total Recall VR systems to a centralised archive.
The service is suitable for scenarios where it is critical to build and maintain a centralised backup (archive) of recordings that can be accessed by other Total Recall VR PC applications on ad-hoc basis. However, the application can be used to integrate Total Recall VR systems with other business systems which need to access recording files and need access to the metadata for the recordings from a database.
A GUI application accompanies the service and provides for configuration and control of the service.
Note that each Total Recall VR Archiver instance can be used to backup (archive) recordings into a one Total Recall VR mega archive by fetching recordings in near real-time and continuously from one or multiple recorders. It is not possible to create multiple Total Recall VR mega archives with a single Total Recall VR Archiver instance. Each mega archive requires its own instance of Total Recall VR Archiver.
In summary, the service offers:
- Continuous near real-time archiving of recordings from one or multiple Total Recall VR systems to a single Total Recall VR mega archive.
- Mega archives with unlimited number of recordings (subject to disk space limits).
- Windows service operating mode.
