LinX Technology with RTP Stream Recording

We are delighted to announce our latest Total Recall VR software releases! In the past 12 months we have been heavily focused on building a solid software foundation upon which we could add some awesome new features. We are are happy to say that the foundation phase is over, and the feature additions start from today!

We have some major new functions in our TRVR LinX range (Essence and Evolution). In summary, software version 10.3.0 introduces:

VoIP recording
- SIP session (call) recording via SPAN port
- H.323 call recording via SPAN port
- Unicast RTP streams via SPAN port
- Multicast RTP streams via SPAN port

Why is this cool? The support for unicast and multicast RTP streams means that we can interface with just about any Radio over IP (RoIP) and Audio over IP (AoIP) system. This opens up a multitude of new recording opportunities, for example, you can now:

- Record VoIP telephone calls where something other than SIP or H.323 are in use;
- Record audio streams between RoIP gateways, dispatch consoles etc;
- Record IP based intercom solutions;
- Record IP based public announcement (PA) systems;
- Record AoIP streams between broadcast equipment;

Essentially, there is now a far wider universe of IP based devices that we can record, which opens far more opportunities for you!

Database Capacity
We have updated the internal call database to the latest generation 'Object DB', the same type of database offered by major database vendors such as Oracle. This means that our Total Recall VR LinX recorders can now support up to 900,000 calls on the database, with the same (or better!) rapid search times that you have enjoyed with the current product.

We have also upgraded the standard hard disk storage on LinX models. All Total Recall VR LinX products now use professional 1TB AV-GP hard drives, with 1 million hours MTBF.

We have also released a software update for products based on our MAX technology (Classic Desktop, Classic Rack, Max Rack). Software version 9.12.0 predominantly comprises of bug fixes, some of which were discovered during the development of the LinX software.

We have a very busy development schedule in the next few months. We can't reveal too much right now, but the general focus will be on adding some of the cool LinX features to our analog products, as well as some exciting integrations with major worldwide Radio / RoIP vendors. We will be keep you posted in due course.
