Remote Manager installation stops after language selection

Remote Manager version 9.16.0 or earlier, and 10.7.0 or earlier, cannot be installed on a PC or laptop that does not have a DVD/BD disc drive.

If you attempt the installation of Remote Manager on a PC or laptop without a DVD/DB disc drive, then the Remote Manager installer will start and show the language selection dialog. Once you select the language the dialog disappears and the installation does not continue.

Upgrade to the latest Total Recall VR 9.x.y or 10.x.y version if you wish to run Remote Manager on a PC or laptop that does not have a DVD/BD disc drive.

Total Recall VR versions 8.x.y and earlier cannot be installed on a PC or laptop without a DVD/DB disc drive.

Workaround

We received reports from users that it is possible to install Remote Manager version 9.16.0 or earlier, and 10.7.0 or earlier on a PC without a DVD/BD disc drive by installing Virtual CloneDrive on the PC before attempting to install Remote Manager.

Note that we have not tested this installation method and do not have plans to test it. Our recommendation is to upgrade to the latest 9.x.y and 10.x.y release.
