Total Recall VR analog DSP cards fall into two main categories:
1. Old-Style, PC104 based Cards
These cards will only work with systems running system software 4.60 or earlier. They will not work with more recent Total Recall VR systems with software version 5.0.0 or higher.
This generation of card was available in two types: 4 channels (black connectors) and 8 channels (grey connectors).
2. Current-Generation, USB based Cards
These are the the current generation cards. But be careful - there are two firmware variants!
Cards with a Green dot sticker on the FPGA chip are programmed for TRVR systems with software v8.x. Cards with a Red dot sticker on the FPGA chip are progreammed for TRVR systems with software v9.x. Please note that the v8.x and v9.x DSP cards are not interchangable.
