Directory not found when exporting recordings

Total Recall VR PC applications may show an error message stating that the export directory was not found when exporting recordings. However, the destination directory actually exists.

This is a problem that occurs when the values of ‘To Extension’, ‘From Extension’, ‘To Number’ or ‘From Number’ of the recordings being exported contain one of the following characters: \\/:*?”<>|

Fix for this problem is available in application versions 9.18.0, 10.9.0 and 4.0.0 (or better) so please upgrade if required.

You can also stop the problem from happening with new recordings by removing the source of the issue. For example, if an analogue channel extension is set to “Drill/Blast”, which will cause the problem as it is using the / character, then to remove the problem change the extension to “Drill-Blast”. This will stop the problem from happening with all future recordings. However, to export existing recordings (prior to the change) you will need to upgrade to the new versions of the applications.
