Version 10.11.0 - Release date 7th March 2016

The 10.11.0 release is a minor release of the Total Recall VR LinX technology.

The 10.11.0 release adds a number of small improvements to the Remote Manager Interface so it is more reliable when used by PC applications such as the Total Recall VR Manager and the Total Recall VR Desktop.

In addition, the 10.11.0 releases fixes a critical defect with the system database which was the root cause for corrupt databases on systems with the 10.10.0 and 10.9.0 release that are used in the CET and EST time zones. While the issue was happening on systems in the CET and EST time zones only, we strongly urge all users with LinX systems to upgrade to this release to avoid problems due to corrupt database.

Further, the 10.11.0 release add the ability to set VoX timeout on individual analogue channels. The system wide VoX timeout parameter was removed from the system configuration and it is now possible to set a VoX timeout for individual analogue and IP recording channels.

In summary, the release 10.11.0 includes:

  1. Improved validation of configuration parameters sent via the Remote Manager Interface
  2. Caching of channel status information was introduced.
  3. It is now possible to fully disable monitoring of recordings in progress over the Remote Manager Interface via configuration.
  4. It is now possible to set VoX timeout for individual analogue recording channels.
  5. PC application installers now detect if the application being upgraded is running and can automatically stop it to complete the installation. As a result, it is no longer necessary to uninstall old version of PC applications such as Remote Manger before installing new versions.
  6. Technology updates:
    1. ObjectDB 2.6.5_02
  7. Time zone data 2016a.
  8. The following defects were removed:
    1. Recorder ID changes no longer lock up the Remote Manager application for long periods of time.
    2. Remote archive to disc is now limited to archive to the 1st disc as it is not possible to archive across multiple discs remotely.
    3. DTMF digits to start and stop recording are now disabled when the NOTES_ONLY recording policy is selected.
    4. It is no longer possible to detach the active drive in a RAID while the RAID is being re-built.
    5. It is now possible to use URIs in the SNMP traphost configuration.
    6. New SMDR parsers are now added to the system configuration on application upgrade.
