The 9.10.0 release aims to improve the security of TRVR archives by destroying data on archive discs when erased. In addition, it updates the time zone data files to version 2012j.
In summary, release 9.10.0 delivers the following:
- The data on discs in now completely destroyed when erasing CD/DVD/BD discs. This removes a security concern that recordings and metadata on recordings is left on discs when erased thus making it possible to recover recordings and metadat from discs that are disposed of.
- The current version of the time zone data files is 2012j.
